Mainstream Ghanaian performer Patapaa Amisty has said he won’t be important for the 2021 Vodafone Ghana Music Awards (VGMAs).

Patapaa has not gotten over the choice of the coordinators of the honor to neglect his “One Corner” hit tune for the Most Popular Song of the Year at the 2018 VGMA.

As per Patapaa who as of late got married to his long-lasting German sweetheart, he would not be important for the honors soon till Charterhouse, coordinators of the honors change their methodology of granting flourishing performers.

“Granting artists isn’t something awful and the VGMA had been in presence for an exceptionally lengthy timespan.

“I’m as yet troubled about the failure back in 2018 after my “One Corner” hit tune neglected to win an honor in spite of its positive effect on the worldwide stage. I have chosen not to participate in the honors plot yet I wish them well and urge them to do the correct things,” he disclosed to GNA Entertainment.

Patapaa was additionally despondent over ongoing remarks by Shatta Wale who mockingly marked him as an underground artiste.

“I was exceptionally stunned when I was named an underground artiste thinking about my noteworthy records.

“My melodies are played all around the world and have showed up on some enormous worldwide stages with some American performers like Chris Brown moving to it and for me, no artist in Ghana can coordinate this record,” he said.
